With the receipt of your booking or your voucher order via our website, a contract is formed between you and Bubble Travel GmbH. We therefore ask you to read the following general terms and conditions carefully.

Booking / booking requests

Bookings for overnight stays must be made directly via our website,, and are binding. Telephone bookings are not possible. Detailed information about prices, facilities, arrival, stay and a booking calendar with availability are available for each accommodation. We expressly reserve the right to make changes. Additional services, some of which are also provided by cooperation partners, can be booked directly under "Additional options". Please note that the service content of our cooperation partners is not determined by us. We reserve the right to make changes, all prices without guarantee. Bubble Travel does not accept any compensation for price or offer changes.

Your booking is binding, subject to a fee and will be confirmed by us with an email including an invoice as soon as you have pressed the "Book now" button. With your booking you acknowledge our general terms and conditions and agree to them. You will then automatically receive an “invoice & booking receipt email” to the email address you provided. In the mail "Booking receipt" you will find the arrival date, accommodation, as well as the specified booking details. We ask you to check the information immediately after booking and to contact us immediately if a mistake has been made. After we have checked the booking, you will receive the “Booking Confirmation” by email. The booking confirmation must be kept until the day of arrival and must be able to be shown. There you will also find the booking details and the invoice amount. Please note that the bill must be paid immediately after booking and only then is the booking confirmation definitive. 

You can make booking inquiries using the contact form. We ask you to inform yourself in advance on our website about the desired accommodation and its availability. Short-term booking requests up to 4 days before arrival cannot be guaranteed.


The price details for our accommodations can be found on our website for the respective accommodation, given in the respective currency. For certain accommodations, the tourist and lodging tax is added to the overnight price. Please refer to the respective description for the prices and the services contained therein.

We expressly reserve the right to change prices or offers due to changed market situations. Compensation claims are excluded.


Issued invoices are to be paid immediately. You settle the bills by making a payment to Bubble Travel's business account. You will receive the information on the bank details after the booking/order by e-mail. A booking is only definitively confirmed when it has been paid for. If an invoice is not paid immediately, we reserve the right to cancel the booking at any time.

If you redeem a voucher when booking, this and all booking details will be checked. Any additional costs for upgrades or additional options that are not included in the value of the voucher will be invoiced separately and are due within 7 days of invoicing.

After we have checked your booking, we will send you a detailed fact sheet by email with all the important information about your stay and the numerical code for the corresponding accommodation. As a rule, we are not directly on site. Our accommodations have (almost) all a combination lock with its own number code for check-in. Some properties have a key box with a number code, others have on-site hosts.

Unfortunately, it can happen that our e-mails end up in the spam folder, so we ask you to check this after booking. The fact sheet as well as the separate checklists in the accommodations are part of our terms and conditions.

When booking for several people, you as the person making the booking are obliged to convey Bubble Travel's General Terms and Conditions to the other participants. The person making the booking is liable for any (partial) cancellation. ​​

Incoming payments are not confirmed separately by us. It may well happen that we only manage to check incoming payments towards the end of the year, as we concentrate on looking after our guests and accommodations during the high season. We therefore ask you to keep the receipts for at least 12 months. If we notice a delay in payment, we usually send a payment reminder by e-mail before we send a reminder. If there is a reminder due to an unpaid invoice, we charge a flat fee of CHF 20 per invoice.

Overpaid contributions of up to CHF 5 will not be refunded due to the insignificance.


You can purchase vouchers on our website.  If you have any questions, please contact us via the contact form. The overnight stay must take place during the validity of the voucher and not during the booking. The voucher can be redeemed for any booking. Voucher campaigns are excluded. Promotions are only valid during the period of validity and cannot be exchanged.

For certain accommodations, the overnight price also includes the tourist and accommodation tax, which is payable on site in cash. The prices can be found in the respective description. The voucher is paid for by bank transfer within 14 days of invoicing. In the event of default, reminder fees of CHF 15 will be incurred. A refund is excluded.

In order to redeem a voucher, the booking must be made directly on our website, Availability can be seen at the bottom of the website.  

Vouchers are always valid. We thus guarantee that the services contained in the voucher can be redeemed during this period. The overnight stay must take place during the validity period.

Cancellation by the customer

Cancellation by the customer is possible at any time in writing by email (exception: cancellation is not possible for bookings with vouchers!). Depending on the time of cancellation, the customer will be charged the following cancellation fees (payable within 14 days):

- up to 30 days before arrival flat rate CHF 75.- per booking
- 30 days before arrival 50% of the total amount, but at least CHF 75,-,
- 14 days before arrival 75% of the total amount,
- 7 days or later, early departure, late arrival and no-show, 100% of the total amount is due

Any reimbursement will only be made in the form of a voucher.

If a voucher has been redeemed, the dates are fixed and there is no reason for a refund in the event of cancellation. Of course, you can have substitutes come to you free of charge.

Cannot be canceled due to “bad weather”. If good weather conditions are important to you, we recommend booking at short notice. We do not guarantee a free overnight stay.

Travel cancellation insurance/cancellation insurance is recommended to cover the cost risk (see below).

If you are unable to make the overnight stay yourself, there is the possibility of having a replacement person come without additional costs. It is not necessary to report to us as we do not have a reception for most of the accommodations and it is a self-check-in process. If several substitutes are staying overnight, i.e. more people than originally booked, we ask for appropriate written information. In the case of accommodations with on-site hosts, it is sufficient if the substitute persons indicate for whom they are staying overnight. It is very important that you forward the fact sheet and the other information that you have received from us by email to the substitutes. Please also note that the booking was completed through you and you have accepted the terms and conditions, so you are liable for the overnight stay of the substitute person.


Unfortunately, rebooking is not possible. If the booking was paid for with a voucher, our cancellation conditions also apply. If there is a cancellation and a refund is due, the refund will be made exclusively as a voucher. When calculating the cancellation costs, the value of the voucher is taken.

If an overnight stay cannot take place due to an official order or similar, the booking can be postponed free of charge. A refund is excluded.

Refunds are made immediately after the cancellation or cancellation and must be checked by the customer. Complaints must be made no later than 30 days after the cancellation or refusal, as we do not store any data and can then no longer trace it back.

Getting there,Overnight & Weather / Force Majeure

Your stay with us, including travel and accommodation, is always and exclusively at your own risk and responsibility. If you are unable to arrive, for whatever reason, our cancellation conditions apply. Our accommodations are in nature, partly secluded. We are usually not on site, so we do not have an exact overview of the situation when thunderstorms or storms are approaching or passing.

Bubble Travel and its hosts exclude all liability.  


We reject any liability for accidents on the premises and in the accommodations. The customer is not insured by us and must independently have taken out adequate health and accident insurance.


If a booking has to be canceled by us due to unforeseen risks (force majeure, dangerous weather and natural conditions, official measures or other security risks) or due to damage to accommodation (e.g. due to storms or because something is defective), the customer is given the opportunity to book a new date in the same year. If this is not possible, for example because there is no longer a suitable free date, we can refund the amount as a voucher for a fee of CHF 25. The customer is responsible for checking the weather before arrival and, if necessary, informing us of a severe weather warning and discussing further action with us. We assume no liability for accidents on arrival and overnight stays due to the weather.

Unfortunately, a summer thunderstorm cannot be ruled out in the mountains. A summer thunderstorm is usually over after half an hour and is no reason to cancel your trip. Each accommodation has a safe shelter in case of a violent thunderstorm or an unexpected storm (be sure to read the checklists in the accommodation or follow the advice of the hosts).

However, should unforeseen risks arise during an overnight stay (force majeure, dangerous weather and natural conditions, official measures or other safety risks), there is no entitlement to a refund. In the event of thunderstorms (including small summer thunderstorms), storms or severe weather, all accommodation must be evacuated. For each accommodation we offer a protection option (see fact sheet or checklists on site or ask your host on site).
  A weather check before departure is mandatory. Bubble Travel accepts no liability for damage caused by force majeure.

The responsibility lies with the customer.

Liability, Loss & Damage

Bubble Travel is a booking platform and handles the booking and marketing of exceptional accommodation. The respective host is responsible for implementation and security. The use or overnight stay in the accommodations as well as the journey are at your own risk and responsibility. Bubble Travel disclaims any liability and responsibility. The accommodations are mostly in nature and are checked regularly, but not after every visit. We also decline any liability for accidents in the terrain, in the accommodation and on the camp grounds.

Upon arrival, the respective accommodation and its infrastructure must be checked for damage. If damage is found to the accommodation or facility, this must be reported immediately by phone or email.
Damage to the facility or infrastructure and missing or defective inventory will be charged to the customer.
Warning: most accommodations are not checked after our guests have left. It is therefore important to read the checklists for arrival and departure, which can be found at each accommodation, and to leave the accommodation clean. Failure to comply can result in very high costs. The costs will be charged to the customer.
In the event of extraordinary soiling of the accommodation or its infrastructure, an additional cleaning fee of CHF 50 to CHF 450 must be paid. If the accommodation cannot be used the next day due to contamination or damage, compensation can also be claimed.

Meals & additional options

Bubble Travel only offers overnight stays in the accommodations.

Meal options come directly from local hosts or from collaborations with restaurants near the property. Any liability regarding catering is rejected. We do not assume any guarantee for the offers made by the respective cooperation partners.

This also applies to services from additional options that are not provided directly by us (e.g. carriage rides, mountain railway rides, etc.). The provisions of the respective provider apply. Here, too, we do not guarantee that the booked service will be carried out.

Photos & Description

We try to describe the accommodations as well as possible and show them with photos. Nevertheless, there can always be small adjustments, e.g. B. new floor, different bed linen etc. and therefore the pictures may differ slightly from the original.


The customer is not insured by Bubble Travel. He must independently have taken out adequate health and accident insurance. A cancellation insurance is recommended. Despite professional and safe implementation, any type of exercise in nature harbors a certain residual risk. With the booking, the customer accepts this residual risk. Bubble Travel assumes no liability for this. Participation and accommodation is at your own risk.


Our accommodations must be kept clean. We ask you to take your rubbish and all groceries with you and to dispose of them properly. Our checklists for arrival and departure must be followed.
Smoking and fire are strictly prohibited in all accommodations! The exception is a small fire in the tipi, as described in the above point “Important safety instructions for customers in the tipi camp”.


We ask that you contact us in advance if you wish to bring a pet with you to your overnight stay. Pets are not allowed in all of our accommodations. If your request has been confirmed by us, the following points must be observed:
• Bring your own food and bowl. No dishes may be used by us for this.
• Please no traces of urine or faeces in and around the accommodation
• Animals are not allowed to sleep in our sleeping bags. Please bring your own blanket.
• There is no possibility to confine the animal.

As the owner of your pet, you are liable for damage caused by your pet. In the event of contamination by the animal, cleaning fees of CHF 50 to CHF 350 will be charged.

rental item

You can book rental items as an additional option when booking. Unless otherwise communicated, the rental items will be made available on site. The rental items are to be kept in a clean condition. Otherwise, additional costs of up to CHF 80.00 for cleaning will be charged. Extraordinary damage and damage to rental items as well as loss are at the expense of the renter and must be reported immediately by telephone or e-mail. Theft insurance is the responsibility of the tenant.

The rental items are used at your own risk and responsibility. Bubble Travel, its partners and the manufacturers are in no way liable for damage to the user, third parties or objects.

Linked Websites

Bubble Travel assumes no liability for the content of external, linked websites. The respective website operators are solely responsible for their content.

Applicable Court and Venue

Only Swiss law is applicable. The competent court is in Lucerne.

The place of jurisdiction is the residential and business address in 6006 Lucerne.
